It is undeniable that when clowns do their stuff in front of an audience, laughter and joy comes right away. But there is nothing better of an experience for a clown than putting a smile on a child - especially when the child giggles right after.
This is what our Bring a Smile to a Child Photo Contest winning photo showed us. Even though it is only a picture, one can see the fun the child is having while playing with her clown friend.
You can almost hear this little lady giggling while playing with TOUCHé.
Pamela Blacklock, also known as TOUCHé, was at a health fair when she met this cute young lady who had a blast making her red nose squeak (glove squeaker). Because of the little girl's contagious belly laugh, Touché laughed with her hence the photo.
Pamela Blacklock or Pam is the President of the Cheerful Clown Alley #166 in Houston, Texas. She is a 10 year cancer survivor, a ceramic potter and sometimes Christmas tree decorator at 60 years young! She also worked as a massage therapist for 25 years where her clown name, Touché (touch), came from.
Here are some of her other photos :
I think we can all say that clowns are the masters of making people smile. It does not matter who you are, how young you are, or what color of nose you have on your face, all you need to have is the willingness to share happiness to others.
